The idea sparked to life just seconds after Audra McDonald triumphantly dropped the mic at the close of the 2013 Tony Awards. As millions of Broadway and theater fans witnessed that most epic of finales, it became clear: there should be an event where theater fans can come together to celebrate their love for Broadway—a place where they can hear from their favorite stars, learn from theater legends, and surround themselves in the grit, the glamor, and the greasepaint of Broadway. Today, we are thrilled to announce that in 2016, that event will become a reality.
